The Content Strategist develops content for use across UFCW’s social media platforms and websites. This role has significant responsibility for finding new and creative ways to use video, graphics, and text to express UFCW’s brand, voice, and message on both public and private platforms. The Content Strategist will also develop content with the goal in mind of expanding the union’s online influence and engagement among our members and our industries (retail, grocery, meatpacking, distillery, and others).
The team seeks an outgoing Digital Organizer to accelerate UFCW’s organizing communications with workers online and in the field. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to take the lead in building our union’s digital organizing program and further developing strategy to reach and develop relationships with potential members. The ideal candidate for this role will bridge traditional organizing with digital savvy to reach new audiences in innovative ways.
HR Information Systems Specialist
The HR Information Systems Specialist oversees the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the Human Resources Office information systems (HRIS). The Specialist serves as a technical point of contact for our HRIS applications and assists with ensuring data integrity by addressing real time data issues, testing system changes, and continually analyzing data flaws for process improvement opportunities.
The International Chemical Workers Union Council seeks applications for the position of Instructor at its Center for Worker Health and Safety Education, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Instructors teach emergency response and hazardous waste classes in Cincinnati and at various national locations. Topics include the use of personal protective equipment, rights and responsibilities, resources, hands-on spill response, and other related topics to the membership of twelve participating organizations.
The Political Coordinator, in coordination with local unions, is responsible for building electoral, legislative, fundraising, and activist programs under the direction of the Director.
Servicing Representative (ICWUC)
Servicing Representatives work throughout the country to organize new members, provide representational service to local affiliates, build public support for the union and issues important to its members, and provide training and guidance to affiliate leaders and members.
