Help your union grow! Learn more about the UFCW Midwest Region 6 Fall Member Training.
We know strong unions are built by strong members. That’s why we’ve come together with your local union chapter to launch a worker development program that will give you and your coworkers the training and support needed to make work better for everyone. Whether you’re just starting to get involved in your union or ready to take on a bigger role, the Member Training Program offers a clear path to build your skills and deepen your understanding of how our union works, from the shop floor to nationwide campaigns.
Over the course of this Fall program, you’ll learn more about the history of UFCW and the fundamentals of organizing, bargaining, and member servicing. We’ll give you the tools you need to support your coworkers’ needs at work as well as help others in your community by assisting with new organizing campaigns. You’ll develop hands-on skills like getting coworkers more involved in UFCW, being a better shop steward, empowering non-union workers to start a union at their workplace, being a strategic bargaining committee member, and more!
Our union is only as strong as the members who step up, and YOU can be one of them. Apply to our Fall Member Training Program and grow our union from the inside out.
