What We’re Fighting for at Tony’s
Full-Time Status for Full-Time Hours
Right now, a lot of us are working full-time without actually being classified as full-time workers. This means we don’t get the wages and benefits we deserve. With our union, we’re fighting to ensure everyone who works full-time at Tony’s is supported, paid well, and recognized for their dedication.
Wage Increases that Reflect our Hard Work
Right now, our company can change how much our raises are and when we get them. But with a union, we can win guaranteed higher raises without having to worry about whether or not they’ll stay the same later on.
Insurance We Can Afford and Use
We need health insurance we can actually use. Right now, our policies are incredibly expensive, making it hard to use what we’ve earned. But, with a union, we can fight for affordable coverage that doesn’t break the bank, so we can thrive in our careers and keep ourselves and our families healthy.
Paid Breaks During Our Shifts
We all need time during the workday to catch our breath and recharge, but right now, Tony’s doesn’t let us take regular breaks. This isn’t sustainable or fair, but with our union we can negotiate paid breaks during every shift. Getting off our feet a couple times a day will help us avoid burnout and keep our stores running smoothly.
Protections Against Favoritism
Tony’s says they value integrity, empowerment, and teamwork, but we often deal with preferential treatment based on our relationships with management. This goes against Tony’s values as a company, so we’re using our union to fight for strong protections against favoritism.
With a union at Tony’s, we can level the playing field and make sure everyone has a chance to thrive.

Guaranteed Paid Vacations
We work hard to earn our vacation time, and we should be able to take days off without worrying about whether we’ll actually get paid. That’s why we’re using our union to fight for written policies that protect our hard-earned vacation days. With a union backing us up, we’ll be able to go on leave and get paid what we’re worth.
Respect for Being Essential Workers
Working at Tony’s is essential work, and we deserve to have a voice at the company. Starting a union at Tony’s will give us a seat at the table and the power to stand up for ourselves, whenever we need to. Together, we can start a new chapter at our stores and make sure we’re treated with respect every time we clock in. Get connected with the Tony’s union here.
