The Backstory

As you may know, the men and women of your local Ralphs store are negotiating with the Kroger corporation, the parent company of Ralphs, for a fair and reasonable contract.

Our goal throughout these contract negotiations is to ensure our hard work is rewarded, our healthcare and wages are protected, and that we are able to provide the very best customer service to you and your family.

To date, we have made reasonable proposals that would protect our healthcare, improve our jobs and customer service. Instead of doing what is right, Ralphs continues to reject these proposals. While Ralphs and its corporate parent Kroger make billions of dollars in profit, they ignore our hard work and refuse to provide us the means to improve our jobs, our lives and the vital customer service you depend on.

While it is our sincere hope that Ralphs will do what is right, we want you and your family to be fully aware of the possibility of store strikes that would include employees walking out of select stores in your neighborhood.

No one in California, who works hard every day, should have to live paycheck to paycheck.
