Audioslave guitarist and former Rage Against the Machine member Tom Morello hosted a sold out benefit concert for Southern California strikers at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles. Tom's efforts not only raised thousands of dollars, as well as awareness of the brave workers holding the line for health care.

Comedienne Janean Garafolo emceed the benefit concert at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, putting a smile on the face of strikers, while informing the crowd about what's at stake.

UFCW Members “Shout Out” to Wayne Brady

A special thanks to television star Wayne Brady who spoke out on behalf of striking UFCW members at Southern California supermarkets.  Brady commented on the strike on his show last week, promising that he would not cross a picket line.  A union member himself, Brady spoke of his union upbringing and spoke in support of the supermarket workers’ fight for health care.    Wayne Brady is the first name listed to the UFCW’s Honor Roll in the fight for health care for American workers.
