The vast majority of ShopRite stores that Wakefern owns and/or supplies are union stores, where workers belong the the UFCW--the grocery workers' union. These ShopRite employees have a say on wages, benefits, and working conditions.
But Wakefern isn't allowing PriceRite workers that same opportunity to have a voice on the job. Why not allow PriceRite workers the opportunity to choose a union--without company interference? After all, the more workers who have to the freedom to join a union, the better off we'll all be.
