JOHN McCAIN

Sen. John McCain is currently serving his 4th term as an Arizona Senator in the United States Senate, having been first elected in 1986.  He also served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1983 to 1987. Sen. McCain is the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. McCain is a U.S. Navy veteran and was a prisoner of war in Vietnam from 1967 to 1973. He previously ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2000.
