For the 1.3 million members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW), the 2008 Presidential election is about restoring the American dream for America’s workers. We believe that Senator Obama is the best candidate to build a movement to unite our country that will deliver the type of change that is needed – for good jobs, affordable health care, retirement security and worker safety.

Blue Obama 1...a former community organizer who understands the needs of working Americans 

  • Putting his passion for family and community ahead of personal financial gain, Barack put law school and corporate life on hold after college and moved to Chicago in 1985, where he worked with a church-based group seeking to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods plagued with crime and high unemployment.
