Eric Davis tells other young workers that when you're in a union you have peace of mind.

*************

Sometimes it's easy for younger workers to believe that workplace issues don't concern them. But, ultimately, it affects you. An accident can happen to anyone. And even though we might think we won't get sick, we never know.

With my health insurance coverage, which I wouldn't have without the union, I don't have to worry. There's a certain peace of mind you have when you're in a union. You don't have to wonder when your next raise is coming. You have comfort knowing that after you work a certain number of hours, you get a raise.

Really, it's up to young members to keep the union strong. The more we help now, the more secure our future will be. A united working class, black, brown, and white, is a strong working class.
