New Mexico Albertson’s associated, represented by UFCW Local 1564, overwhelmingly approved a new contract recently – by a 99.5% vote. Employees will see improvement in their health benefits, increased pension funding, and wage increases in each of the four years covered by the agreement. The contract also makes needed improvements to vacation, holiday, lunch breaks and rest periods.
